Nigeria’s Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola was talking about the road networks in Nigeria. He gave an estimate of road ownership in Nigeria.

“. . .because there is 200,000km of road network nationwide. Federal government owns about 35,000 of that network.

The remaining of the 200,000 (take 35,000 out), belongs to the states and the local governments.”

Babatunde Fashola, Minister for Works & Housing (July 6, 2020)
